Drop the prices for a basic oil change.
Thanks for your reply Lloyd, we appreciate all feed back . We strive to make sure we are competitive in our market, we price check frequently as to what others in our market are doing, that criteria is looking at the quality of the products provided, the type of service provided, and the support for follow up services and of course warranty. Our industry unfortunately is driven by the major oil companies, who i submit do not seem to follow their pricing with the world price for oil. We have seen several increases in our cost of goods, and a low Canadian dollar contributes, to cost of goods because products are based on the US dollar. We are aware of the local businesses that use oil changes as a lost liter, to get you in the door, as a way to try and garner further services. When comparing these prices keep in mind that the quality of product is key as there is several grades of oils available, also service although is determined by the customer , is important as well, And lastly what time is taken out of the customers day to provide a somewhat less convenient service. As well fixed cost and increased wages have not helped with all businesses and their bottom line. Which is required to continue in business. We take pricing seriously and as stated we appreciate your feedback, I hope this has given you some insight as to why and how the cost of an oil change is priced
